How to choose steel cable:
There are many types of steel cables and structures of steel cables on the market such as anti-twisted cable, galvanized cable, right twisted pair, left twisted cable … etc. Here we will learn the basics of steel cables.

1. Structure of steel cable:

Twisted-pair cable is a 2-way twisted-pair cable, the core is oriented to the left, the outer cables are in the right direction. Twisted pair cables used for lifting are commonly used as 19×7 or 35×7 type for tower crane or hoist, hoists with large cable length.
